This spring-summer, the artistic signature of the FAGUO wardrobe is captured in one life philosophy: Pura Vida. Inspired by this hybrid Costa Rican way of life, FAGUO created the FOREST 1, a lifestyle running shoe for those who live the pure life between city and forest while reducing their impact on Earth.

FOREST 1 on your feet, between city & forest.
Designing a new last starts with asking what it will be used for once worn. The FOREST 1 exists for those who make it a point of honour to choose a life in harmony between city and nature.
Its reflective panels will appeal to cycle commuters weaving through city streets or weekend cyclists escaping for a breath of fresh air in the forest. Its lightweight design will enhance everyday comfort.
Made from waste. With an urban outdoor character, the FOREST 1's silhouette is elevated by its various panels in recycled materials.
Its upper, made with recycled polyester, along with its lining, reduces CO2 emissions from the pair and limits the use of fossil resources.
VEGAN certified
"At FAGUO, we consider leather used in fashion as a by-product of the food industry, not a waste product. It therefore has a very high carbon impact."
To "engage our generation against climate change", we removed leather from the FOREST 1 to keep things light — both on your feet and in terms of carbon footprint.
Our FOREST 1 are certified by PETA, the world's largest animal rights organisation, to ensure the transparency that those who wear them deserve.
Assembled in France
Just a few kilometres from the FAGUO forest of Monlet, the FOREST 1 was co-designed with a French workshop located in the heart of the timeless Ardèche national forests.
Specialising in the development of highly comfortable soles, this new FAGUO last was naturally designed to be the go-to for city dwellers, cycle commuters, or anyone who needs to escape to the open countryside.
