A FRENCH FASHION BRAND
Launched in 2009, FAGUO is a French and young fashion brand that creates neoclassic shoes and accessories. By adding modernity to basics clothes, FAGUO produces each season a collection based on comfort, convenience and design.
FAGUO has an entrepreneurship dimension based on the two creators’ emotions. Their spontaneity gives to the brand its young and dynamic identity. Concerned, they have decided to compensate their carbon emissions by developing a reforestation project in France through the concept : « for each FAGUO sold, we plant a tree in France ».
FAGUO’s headquarters are based in Paris with a strong team of 25 workers. The brand can be found in 300 stores in France and 220 stores abroad (mainly Asia and Europe).
DES PREMIERS PAS DE FAGUO À AUJOURD’HUI
At the age of 22, Frédéric & Nicolas went to China for their exchange semester. During this trip, they decided to create a sneakers brand.
Motivated by their desire to go always further, they have managed to transform FAGUO «the student project» into FAGUO «the french start- up» then into FAGUO «the French dynamic fashion brand».

A simple, casual and relaxed style, suitable for everyday wear rather than formal occasions.
Concerned, the brand compensates its carbon print leading a reforestation project in France, Belgium and China with the strong concept: “For every FAGUO, a tree is planted”. In total at the end of 2016, FAGUO would have planted 600,000 trees in 7 years in 110 different plantations. These values are very dear for the brand and are thus highly represented in the store.

Many actions are done to reduce our impact and to always improve tha quality of our product. In a will to offset its carbon emission, FAGUO develops a project of plantation according to the principle: One tree is planted for one pair of shoes sold.
FAGUO participates in the reforestation of fallow land not valued in order to become forestlands, available for everybody. The brand carries out this project in collaboration with the nurseryman Naudet, specialised in maintenance and reforestation. Species are chosen according to the region…. and the area: beech, sycamore maple, cherry, birch, ash, douglas… The coconut button on each product symbolize the planted tree.
